mild-mannered and curious, 8 year old jackson (jess’ dog) has been enthralled this past week by the newest member of the 26th street casa…my cat. 4 year old amelie, commonly mistaken for a wee kitten, is generally oblivious if not blatantly disinterested in the goings on of other four-legged creatures around her. that is, until they get 4 inches from her face. don’t mess (apparently.)

so nice to see everyone’s getting on.

jessica and i have made a pact. we high-fived on it. so it’s for real.

we’ve decided to get our asses out of bed at 8(ish) every morning with the help of mr.coffee’s delay brew setting, allowing for maximum AM productivity…that’s right. no more waking up with only enough time to get questionably presentable for work. no sir. from here on out, we will not only look good when we walk out the door, we will have many a ✓ on our mildly OCD to-do lists.
